“Pay Up” is Dhamiri’s debut full length project and is a great introduction to who he is as an artist and creative. Featuring 8 records, Dhamiri’s multi-national sound is evident as his aggressive word play and grime influenced flow capture the listeners ears. The mixtape itself has no guest features, purely Dhamiri belting out track after track. The haunting sounds of the songs “Loyal” and “Cursed” and the projects title song “Pay Up” display a range of emotions and are balanced out by the fun feeling record “Cool Down”. The project has an overall dark feel and the sound is overall encapsulated by great production that compliment Dhamiri’s voice and sound.
