G-Eazy On “These Things Happen”, Studio Sessions w/ Too $hort & His Dream Super Bowl Half Time Show
G-Eazy sat down with us after his sold out show at the House of Blues Boston to talk to us about his performance that night and his approach towards all his shows big and small. He also talks about his tour being only Bay Area artists and the Bay’s mentality towards their own artists. Moving on he recalls his first time meeting Too $hort and starstuck after finally getting to meet his hero and what a studio session with him is really like.
Touching on the album “These Things Happen” we talk about how his label and himself pushed to continually make it better and his general attitude towards making songs. G-Eazy also goes in on what his thought process was on the standout track “Opportunity Cost” and what went in to making the track.
To close out our time with G-Eazy he lets us know about his plans for performing at the Super Bowl and what we could expect from him at a show of that scale.
