Saukrates drops a brand new video, directed by JTRUE for “The Big Bang.” The tune features massive production by Toronto’s Rich Kidd. Recorded during a session at 8 a.m., it’s straight from the gut spittin’ and, as Soxx says himself in the song “The honourable Saukrates presiding/over your soul/burying you in deep ocean flow…” Saukrates released “AMANI” on September 23rd as his 4th release. A 4-track EP featuring co-production by Rich Kidd and Snaz, and guest appearances by SonReal. The release of Amani is a defining moment in Saukrates’ career as he wipes the slate clean to begin a new chapter. A chapter in which Saukrates is more introspective, experimental and fervent in his approach to music.
