Chanel West Coast on "Now You Know", East Coast Roots, Arguing w/ Snoop & More!
A couple weeks back we had the chance to catch up with Chanel West Coast in Boston after the first stop of her “Punch Drunk Love Tour”. To start we talk to Chanel about her latest mixtape “Now You Know” and how she’s feels as if her reality star status is preventing people from giving her a fair shot and listening to the project. Though she started out rapping before acting, she can see why not everyone’s willing to give her music an immediate chance.
After talking about the tape Chanel talks about how her collaborations with Snoop Dogg and Robin Thicke came about. While her and Robin hit it off from the jump, her relationship with Snoop actually started off with an argument the two have since turned around. Next, the Young Money Femcee goes into detail discussing her appearance on Wild N Out and how recording an album differ’s from filming a TV Show. Lastly Chanel talks about inspiration behind her new video for “Karl” and how she takes pride in having more bitches in her video then most male rappers.
