This is the second video off Mayhem & Soulslicers impending “Soul It May Seem” album, aptly titled “Patriots” for it’s play on the NFL team’s colors. Legendary Boston MC’s Edo.G (Special Teamz / A&E), Big Shug (Gangstarr Foundation), and seasoned veteran M-Dot (EMS) accompany uprising lyricist Mayhem (EMS), as they pay homage to their city, colors and team. While avoiding the cliche tribute record, each emcee uses individual verses, utilizing wordplay to articulate separate colors (Red, Blue, Silver) amalgamating into the “Patriots” voltron style.
