Recently we had the chance to sit down with Maybach Music Group’s Rockie Fresh after his in-store signing at Laced in Boston. During the interview the Chicago emcee talked to us about how signing to MMG effected his career and some of the lesson’s Rick Ross has taught him about surviving in the music business. From there he speaks on how Meek Mill helped him link up with Puma, working with producer Hit-Boy, what attracts him to various producers, his recording process and music influences outside of hip-hop.
